Starters


Guyader pork meat products are made by Elquin, a firm established since1930 in Quintin, a historic town in the Gouët valley between the countryside (Argoat in Breton) and the sea (Armor).

They maintain traditions which can be traced back to Ancient Rome and Gaul, the historic homelands of pork meat processing. This ancestral expertise which resulted from 'home-cooking' has been passed down through generations and is synonymous with conviviality, joie de vivre, generosity and good food.






Country terrines and pâtés

Our country pâté is made from Breton pork. The meat is roughly chopped to optimize the texture and flavour of the meat. The mix is lightly salted and cooked in stoneware terrines in ovens in the « old-fashioned way ». Like in the past, the slow cooking at low temperature brings out all the flavours of the pâté and gives it a «crusty» external appearance and a tasty texture inside. Country pâtés and terrines can be eaten in sandwiches, spread on brown bread or cut into small cubes topped with a slice of gherkin. Tradition and simplicity are the key to this superior paté.







Liver pâtés

Made with fresh liver (40% minimum in each recipe) liver pâtés are prepared in a traditional way. The liver and meat are roughly chopped, then seasoned and cooked very slowly to give them a smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture, a natural colour and an appetizing aroma. Rich in Vitamin B and easy to spread, these products are particularly suitable for canapés and sandwiches.







Rabbit terrines

These terrines are made to an old recipe using fresh rabbit meat. Delicately flavoured with spices and Armagnac, the terrines are wrapped in a light, natural casing and glazed to give a perfect, deliciously appetizing presentation.







Prime-quality cooked meat products

With the sole addition of onion, salt and pepper, these products evoke Brittany and its traditions. Delicious and appealing with a generous, modern presentation, they are great to share with friends and family on any occasion.







Gastronomic terrines

Each 40g square is a savoury treat. These new types of lighter, more delicate terrines are perfectly suited to modern demands. They are practical, natural (free from colourings and taste enhancers) and delicious. They are vacuum-cooked to retain all the flavour without the need for preservatives. The range includes a large variety of creative recipes which bring together cooked meats and herbs.







Cooked hams

Guyader Red Label cooked hams are produced to a very high standard. The raw materials must be fresh and follow a rigorous selection process. The absence of hock cuts guarantees the tenderness of the ham. Production is checked and authenticated by a certification authority. Every quarter sensory analyses are carried out by a panel of consumers who judge different criteria (appearance, smell, texture, flavour) and confirm the superior qualities of Guyader hams, a real pleasure for children and adults alike.
Red Label specifications demand good farming practices and respect for animal welfare (choice of food and surface on which the animals are raised, no antibiotics, etc).







Cooked meats

As a practical, popular alternative to cooked ham, turkey breast has the advantage of being both nutritionally perfect and tasty too. The «home-made» flavour makes this product an incomparable delight to savour, the result of gentle handling. Its appearance is generous and in the shape of a turkey breast. The product which is oven-roasted has all the natural flavour one would expect of a turkey bred and raised in France. We roast the extra-lean breasts ourselves and smoke them in a natural way over beech wood.







Cooked sausages

Guyader cooked sausages, a great, traditional classic, have moved with the times and can be enjoyed at any time of day. Both the Red Label and Traditional brands contain a minimum of 30% fresh ham. The only seasonings are garlic, salt and pepper. They contain only chopped ingredients (no added sausage filling), the casings are natural and they are smoked in the traditional way over beech wood. Everything about them is good !
